*Current Events RED*I would just like to commend Dra. Elizabeth Micaller for her article about Q2 in Philippine Star today. She is my mentor in Iridologist. She is the only accredited instructor in the Philippines and Asia as well for Iridology.
*OLD NEWS REVIVED*(Indigo)I know they are old news.. but i just want them to be honored, since the "OPENING" of this blog was kind of delayed.
Philippines winning the FIRST POOL WORLD CUP
Winning this title, sure is one thing! Imagine, winning the FIRST POOL WORLD CUP?
But of course, we would not be so astounded by it because most of the POOL WORLD CUP critics have been saying that Philippines would sure win this game, and true to the word of that critic(after 2 days he declared that), the PHILIPPINE TEAM WON!
REST OF THE STORY:

THE PHILIPPINE TEAM CLIMBING MOUNT EVEREST
The first successful ascent of Mount Everest by the FILIPINO TEAM, should be seen in a higher patriotic light that could lead us to even greater achievement. Climbing the Mount Everest is like a picture language, saying that we the FILIPINOS can do it too!
Congratulations PHILIPPINE TEAM!
2 sets of Filipino siblings reigned supreme at the “Talent Olympics” Cercado sisters -- Almira, 18; Irene, 16; Mylene, 14, and Celina, 10 -- have amazing voices that won for them the gold medal in the overall vocal group junior division.
The Marquez siblings -- Beverly, Paolo and Jem Marquez -- bagged the silver medal in the overall senior vocal division.
The 21-member delegation of the Philippines this year all made it to the finals."The song entries were limited to 60 seconds each so that choosing and arranging songs that would showcase one’s vocal prowess for such a short time was in itself a challenge." De Leon said.
“In that aspect, it also showed the creativity of the Filipinos. They all performed one-minute songs that were arranged very well,” he said.
The Cercados came home with 16 gold medals, four plaques, and a sparkling trophy after sweeping the top prizes in all the four categories they participated in—Broadway, Gospel, Original Works and Pop/R&B.
They sang “His Eyes on the Sparrow” (Gospel), “Phantom of the Opera” (Broadway), Ryan Cayabyab’s “Paraiso” (Original Works), and “Billy Jean” (Pop/R&B).
“The judges told us they liked Michael Jackson again after hearing us sing Billy Jean,” Almira said.
She and her sisters performed the Jackson hit, complete with dancing the moonwalk.
The judges were so impressed that they awarded The Cercados the Worldstar Champions in the Pop Category in the junior division.
The Siblings had a total of nine silver medals from the same categories.
